NBC Adds Fourth Hour to 'Today'
As “Extra” first reported, NBC announced it will expand the “Today” show.
In order to accommodate a four hour, the network has cancelled its daytime soap “Passions,” which will likely continue through August, while insiders says the new “Today” show is slated to begin in September.
But loyal “Passions” lovers don't cry just yet: there is mounting speculation that NBC will continue with its soap, but perhaps on a different platform.
