ABC's NBA Open to Feature The Pussycat Dolls

This year's NBA coverage on ABC, the home of the 2007 NBA Finals, will feature The Pussycat Dolls during the opening segment of all regular-season game broadcasts.
The open, which will debut during the Christmas Day broadcast featuring the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat, will use an adaptation of The Pussycat Dolls' song “Right Now.”
"The Pussycat Dolls, one of the hottest pop groups in the world right now, are a great complement to our presentation of the NBA on ABC,” said Mike Pearl, the executive in charge of production of the NBA on ABC. “Like the incredible athletes who play in the NBA, The Pussycat Dolls have unique talents. Their music, dancing ability and youthful energy will help set the tone for our coverage of the NBA."
"It's such an honor to be associated with this great organization and these talented athletes, said Nicole Scherzinger, the group's lead singer.
