Sandra Lee Opens Up About Cancer Battle and How She Is Doing Today
Last year, celebrity chef Sandra Lee was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy to save her life. A year later… she’s now a survivor.
Sandra recently sat down with “Extra,” revealing, "I am happy to say that I am now cancer-free. I will be 50 this summer. Last summer, I had to stay home and I was almost quarantined the entire summer while I was healing.”
She reflected on her cancer battle, saying, "I was diagnosed early, there was a lot of complications, and it’s a tremendously aggressive, brutal surgery.”
Lee, who celebrated her 50th birthday on July 3, also gave ideas on what to cook for the holiday weekend. Watch!
