Leonardo DiCaprio on Best Candidate for the White House

“Extra’s” Renee Bargh chatted with Leonardo DiCaprio about his new documentary “Before the Flood,” which is focused on the topic of climate change.

With the tagline, “The science is clear. The future is not,” DiCaprio’s passion project, directed by Fisher Stevens, will make its debut this weekend in 171 countries and 45 languages on National Geographic, commercial-free. It will also be available anywhere you can stream online videos.

Stevens added, “Nobody's better to make people get it than Leo. It's amazing to Leo and I that in the three presidential debates, not one question [was] on climate change. This infuriated us.”

Renee asked, “Who do you feel is the best person to take up these environmental issues?”

“Well, there's one person that believes in the modern science of climate change,” he rebutted. “So, you take your pick.”

Who does Leo think will make it to the White House?

“That's up to the people. We'll see what happens. We want everyone to get out there and vote,” he said. “That's the main thing.” Watch!
