Robert Wagner Talks About the Special Women in His Life

Debonaire actor Robert Wagner has had an amazing career spanning seven decades, and he has always had a beautiful woman on his arm.

“Extra’s” AJ Calloway caught up with the actor at the H&M Times Square studio, where he was asked about how he has managed to be surrounded by so many great beauties in his life. "I don’t know,” he said. "I’ve been so fortunate to be with these ladies and know them a bit.”

Wagner, who has been married to actress and Bond girl Jill St. John since 1990, has worked with and known Hollywood royalty like Marilyn Monroe and Bette Davis, but the women he said stand out the most in his memory? “I’ve worked with Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren… my late wife, Natalie.” He was of course referring to Natalie Wood, whom he loved so much he married her twice.

He does admit that being a star wasn’t always as glamorous as it seemed. He said of the greatest female stars, “They gave up so much for all of us, you know?… In the early days, when they were working six days a week and going from one studio to another, they were totally immersed in their career, so that's difficult to maintain a relationship at home with a husband."
