He’s seventh in line to the throne, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby boy Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is not a prince!

Royal expert Marlene Koenig explained to Time that Archie's status is likely because Harry and Meghan want a normal life for their children.

Koenig said, “The Queen might not like it, but she’s pretty fair about what her family wants to do. She understands that [Harry and Meghan] will want to have a much more normal life.”

Not only did they skip the Prince and Royal Highness titles, it seems Archie won’t take on the honorary title Earl of Dumbarton.

Koenig says that Archie, however, will always be entitled to the Earldom and will become the Duke of Sussex upon Harry’s death.

There is still a chance Archie could become a prince when Prince Charles takes the throne.

An insider tells People that as the King’s grandson via a son, Archie will automatically receive the title of “Prince.” Harry and Meghan, however, will get to decide at the time if the title will stick.

Princess Anne famously turned down Queen Elizabeth’s offer to give her children Zara and Peter Phillips royal titles, while Prince Andrew requested titles for Beatrice and Eugenie.

In other royal news, Prince Harry has jetted off to the Netherlands for the countdown to the Invictus Games just days after Archie’s birth.

Harry showed support for his family with a jacket and shirt that read “Invictus Family Daddy.”

He was also gifted an adorable “Invictus Games” onesie!

On Wednesday, Harry and Meghan showed off their baby at Windsor Castle. Meghan told reporters, "It's magic. It's pretty amazing. I have two of the best guys in the world, so I'm really happy."

Of their bundle of joy, Meghan added, "He has the sweetest temperament... he's just been the dream. It's been a special couple of days."

When asked who he looks like, Harry, who wore a J. Crew suit while holding the baby, commented, "Everybody says the baby changes so much over two weeks. We're monitoring how the changing process happens over this month, really. His looks change every single day."

Along with saying parenting is "amazing," Harry added, "We're just so thrilled to have our own bundle of joy and being able to spend some precious times with him as he slowly starts to grow up."
