Days after their wedding, “Dancing with the Stars” pros Val Chmerkovskiy, 33, and Jenna Johnson, 25, jetted off to St. Lucia for a honeymoon!
During the romantic vacation, the pair stayed at Sandals Grande St. Lucian Resort’s Grande Rondoval Butler Suite, which features a veranda with a hammock, outdoor shower, Jacuzzi and private plunge pool.
When they weren’t inside the suite, they enjoyed romantic candlelit dinners, mud baths, and tours of local waterfalls, and showed off their dance moves at the resort’s talent night.
She posted on Instagram, “Mud bath from sulfur in the volcano (the locals gave us their individual signatures with the black mud), waterfalls, snorkeling near the Pitons, and so much more.”
Shirtless Val and bikini-clad Jenna also made sure to show off their beach bodies while taking a dip in the clear blue ocean.
The couple were seen packing on the PDA like it was no big deal!
Along with sharing photos from their paradise vacation, Val stressed the importance of being grateful. He said, “gratitude is truly an essential ingredient to happiness, and I don’t think there is ever enough of it. I struggle with anxiety and doubt almost on a daily basis. It comes in waves. Even in paradise, even alongside my true love, even with my health, and the luxury of streaming the last episode of G.o.T., there is still a periodical feeling of... Whatever that feeling is, I find action and a reminder of gratitude to be the remedy.”

Got to explore the beautiful island of St. Lucia with my love yesterday. As we ventured between one pristine location to the next I asked Jenna how she was doing (and yes I sounded just like the typical New Yawkah “how you doin”). She replied, “I’m just grateful.” Perfect response to a perfect day. As common as it is to see it written in captions nowadays gratitude is truly an essential ingredient to happiness and I don’t think there is ever enough of it. I struggle with anxiety and doubt almost on a daily basis. It comes in waves. Even in paradise, even alongside my true love, even with my health, and the luxury of streaming the last episode of G.o.T. there is still a periodical feeling of ... Whatever that feeling is I find action and a reminder of gratitude to be the remedy. Every time. It’s one of the few things in life you can’t have enough of. The mind is a tricky maze and sometimes your ego is trapped right in the middle of it. But you, the real you, not your ego but you are in control. Take steps to find your peace by taking action on your dreams and all of your ambitions, and throughout consistently remind yourself of one of the best most fruitful mindsets you can have... a sense of gratitude. The state of gratitude will lead you to a place of peace and love. Atleast it does for me... every time. And boy are there things to be grateful for in this beautiful world of ours. Peace and love.. may your day be full of both. ✌🏼+♥️ . . If you ever run out of things to be grateful for.. feel free to reach out and I’ll help. . “It’s not joy that makes us grateful, it’s gratitude that makes us joyful.” . #thanksforlistening #gratitude #peace #love #health
Earlier this month, they tied the knot at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palo Verdes, California, in front of their close friends and family.
After the ceremony, an insider told E! News that Val and Jenna “walked off holding hands and kissing,” adding, “Then they stopped to look at their wedding rings in complete awe. They were showing the rings to each other on their fingers and they couldn't contain their excitement."
Val popped the question in June when they were spending time in Venice, Italy. He told People magazine, “When I was 17, I visited Venice for the first time and thought it was the most romantic place in the world. I promised myself then that the next time I would come back to Venice was to propose to the woman I’d want to spend the rest of my life with. Fifteen years later I kept my word. It was perfect.”
