Former “Bachelor” contestant Cristy Caserta has passed away suddenly at the age of 38.
TMZ reports Caserta died after suffering an apparent seizure on Thursday.
Caserta was in the middle of a class in Sunrise, Florida, when she fell forward at her desk. Her classmates immediately called 911. According to the site, she suffered cardiac arrest as emergency personnel arrived on the scene, where they administered CPR.
Despite efforts to save her life, Cristy was pronounced dead at Westside Regional Medical Center.
Police do not suspect foul play. No drugs were found on her. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine her official cause of death.
Caserta appeared on the 15th season of “The Bachelor,” but was sent home by Brad Womack after the first week.
