Legendary actor Robert Redford celebrated his last film as an actor at the Toronto Film Festival.
“Extra” spoke with the movie icon as he premiered “The Old Man and the Gun,” explaining why he is walking away from acting. He pointed out, “Not retiring. Just moving on to different things.”
The 82-year-old emphasized, “I started acting when I was 21, and so that's a long time. I think it's enough.”
The Oscar winner’s last film has him playing a real-life serial bank robber who escaped from prison 17 times. He shared, “It’s such a wonderful story — it’s also true.”
“The Old Man and the Gun” is in theaters September 28.
