Nearly a week after her suspected overdose, singer Demi Lovato is still hospitalized.
A source told TMZ that Lovato is battling extreme nausea and a high fever.
According to the site, her close circle has not approached her about rehab due to her health. One insider said, “We just don’t know where her head is at.”
Though doctors haven’t approved her hospital release, another source close to Demi said, “She is under the care of medical experts and is expected to make a full recovery."
Demi is recovering with her family and ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama by her side. A pal told People magazine, “Wilmer has spent hours at the hospital with Demi every day. He seems very concerned about her.”
Last week, Valderrama was photographed looking somber after a visit to Cedars-Sinai, where Lovato is “resting and getting better.”
A source close to the actor recently revealed, “He saw her through so many ups and downs and was her rock through some of her darkest moments. To see her back in such a sad and vulnerable place is heartbreaking for him.”
Demi and Wilmer were together for six years before their split in 2016.
