Khloé Kardashian is owning up to a big mistake, apologizing after using offensive language in an Instagram Livestream video posted Thursday.

People magazine reports Kardashian and her sister, Kourtney, used the words "retard" and "retarded" in frustration while attempting to connect their mobile devices to an exercise program they were hoping to spotlight.

When a fan tweeted that she should "pay more attention" to the hurt these words can cause by using Kardashian's own daughter as an example, it had the desired effect!

"If True had a disability you would use a different word," the fan wrote in a polite reprimand.

To her credit, Khloé replied with an abject apology, tweeting back, "Ugh I hate that word! Why did I even say that? You are a million percent right and I actually greatly dislike when people use that word! I will do better! I am sorry!"

She closed by offering "much love today."
