Earlier this week, “Modern Family” actress Sarah Hyland was hospitalized for her ongoing health issues.
On Thursday, Hyland revealed on Instagram that her dog Boo could sense that something was wrong. Along with a pic of her dog cuddling up to her, she wrote on Instagram, “This was taken this past Sunday. Day before hospitalization. She was literally telling me to get treatment.”
Sarah added, “Can’t wait to come back to my precious angel princess. She’s perfect and knows exactly what I need at all times.”
In another Instagram Story, Sarah posted a pic of her swollen face, writing, “Sometimes a selfie is more than just a good angle or feelin cute. This time for #NationalSelfieDay, I’ve decided to share my truth. As painful as it is. So here is my face that was torn from work against my will. But I’m very grateful it was. Health should always come first.”
The 27-year-old did not go into detail or reveal what her health problems were.
A source told Us Weekly that she was working on her film “The Wedding Year” when she was hospitalized.
In March, Sarah tweeted about her frustrations, saying, "For those who are chronically ill and in chronic pain: Have you had the experience of doctors not listening to you? If so, how do you not tear their heads off with your bare hands? :)."
Last year, Hyland opened up on health while slamming body shamers, who accused her of promoting anorexia. She tweeted, “My circumstances have put me in a place where I’m not in control of what my body looks like. I am working hard to maintain my weight by eating as much protein as possible and continue to be STRONG and healthy. There’s no need to worry! I’ve been down before and I’ll probably be down again in my lifetime but I’m steadfast and solid and will conquer my obstacles.”
