The royal wedding is right around the corner, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle now have Queen Elizabeth’s blessing.
The monarch gave her official stamp of approval today, using Harry and Meghan’s real names: Henry and Rachel!
In a letter obtained by People, she wrote, “My Lords, I declare My Consent to a Contract of Matrimony between My Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales and Rachel Meghan Markle, which Consent I am causing to be signified under the Great Seal and to be entered in the Books of the Privy Council.”
As an heir to the throne, Harry must receive Her Majesty's consent to marry.
Harry and Meghan will wed at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19.
