TV personality Andy Cohen is the man in the middle of all the “Housewives” drama, and “Extra’s” Renee Bargh caught up with him today on the set of his hit game show “Love Connection.”
Cohen weighed in on how the drama surrounding “Real Housewives of New York City ” cast member Luann de Lesseps will play out on the show since her Christmas Eve arrest for allegedly attacking a police officer. He shared, “This whole experience has changed her, and you'll see the entire evolution of everything that happened with her for the last six months in the next season.”
Andy also teased, “People will be surprised to see how Bethenny and Carol's friendship has changed, unfortunately.”
Andy’s close friend Sarah Jessica Parker was recently embroiled in her own drama after the condolences she sent to “Sex and the City” cast member Kim Cattrall over the tragic loss of her brother were publicly rejected. When asked how he felt about Cattrall's reaction, Andy commented, “First of all, she's in the middle of a really tragic moment, so I think your emotions are heightened. When you are in the middle of a tragedy, how can you fault someone for expressing condolences?"
Drama aside, Andy is having a great time hosting “Love Connection,” which is returning soon. He gushed, “This is my dream job. I just get to pry into people's personal lives — what's better than that? We have had so many happy endings for Season 2, and a lot of disasters, but mainly happy endings, which is what we are going for.”
