She may be heartbroken, but Miranda Lambert is not one to sit around and mope.
Even if she recently split with boyfriend Anderson East — and she hasn't confirmed it — the 34-year-old told a Knoxville, Tennessee, crowd she is using her sadness to make music.
Us Weekly reports the songbird told fans, "...Part of feelings is also heartbreak, unfortunately, but fortunately for me, I can use it for my art or whatever. I like to write sad songs."
She also explained, "I make it my mission every single time I step on the stage that no matter what, no matter where I am, I want to make you feel everything you could possibly feel. I want you to feel sad, mad, happy and nostalgic and really pissed sometimes. That’s my favorite."
She then launched into her hit "Tin Man."
Fans noticed Lambert and East, 29, seemed to be kaput when she stopped posting photos of him in January. The two had dated since December 2015, following her divorce from fellow country superstar Blake Shelton.
