Nina Agdal on the Reaction to Her Body-Shaming Post

Last night, “Extra” was on the red carpet with Sports Illustrated cover model Nina Agdal at the Zadig & Voltaire show during New York Fashion Week, where she opened up on the feedback she has received since penning an open letter about body shaming on Instagram.
In January, the 25-year-old Danish model posted that a magazine refused to run a cover featuring her because she did not fit the sample-sized clothing.

Nina shared, "The support has honestly been incredible. I did not know what to expect. I posted this photo and it could go two ways — bad or good. And it was just amazing. The support was incredible. I've met so many girls out there who were inspired by it, who felt like I was talking to them. It's very personal for me and I'm still trying to beat this body-shaming thing, but this was step one and I'm so relieved to do it."
