Cardi B on Her Success, Plus: Those J.Lo Rumors

It has been quite the year for rapper Cardi B, who skyrocketed to fame after releasing “Bodak Yellow”!
Cardi B, who is nominated for two Grammys and performing at the big show, attended Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammys party. “Extra's” AJ Calloway spoke to Cardi B, who explained how she feels about all the success.
She said, “I get to enjoy because I see my family enjoy it, I take them to places they never been before, I buy them things they never had, seeing beautiful places and the success and when I win something, it's a little bit overwhelming, but it's a lot of work.”
“It's new, it's new, you got to have tough skin…” she added. “I'm planning to have kids — not now, but someday. I got to make money for them.”
Playing coy on rumors that she is collaborating with J.Lo, she said, “Yo no se, papi.” Who would she like to work with in the future? The 25-year-old said, “I love Madonna and Lady Gaga — people don't know that.”
On getting ready to hit the Grammys stage with Bruno Mars to perform their hit “Finesse,” Cardi B commented, “I am excited. It's going to be so cool! I'm excited and nervous, then I saw the seating and right in front of the stage is Beyoncé and JAY-Z... I'm like, 'Why you gotta do that me?!'”
In honor of the Grammys, Lyft recently remixed Cardi's nominated song "Bodak Yellow," with the help of horns, wipes, door-locking beeps, subwoofers, and neon lights. Watch here!
