Before “This Is Us” won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, Milo Ventimiglia was breaking down upcoming episodes for “Extra’s” Tanika Ray!
Last week’s episode left fans in shock when it was revealed Rebecca left the mall without buying batteries for the family’s smoke detector.
Milo explained, “Looking at what the first episode was of the season and knowing that there is a burned-down house and knowing now there are no batteries in the smoke detector, we all know where this is going.” What isn’t known is how it unfolds... but he promises answers are coming “incredibly soon.”
Ventimiglia admitted he gets just as choked up as viewers at home when he reads the scripts, saying, “I get emotional and my heart hurts for what the audience is going to experience.” He does appreciate the positivity in the series, noting, “I like that there is still humor and still hope.”
