We are only two days away from the Golden Globes, but a bomb cyclone aka Winter Storm Grayson could wreck some of the stars’ plans to attend!
The East Coast winter storm has caused thousands of flights to be canceled at JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark.
Golden Globe-nominated actor Armie Hammer attempted to fly out of NYC Thursday, but was forced to drive back into the city after his flight was canceled. He documented his ordeal in Instagram Stories in the morning.
His “Call Me By Your Name” co-star Timothée Chalamet, who is nominated for Best Performance By an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama, was absent from the W magazine party in Los Angeles on Thursday that was held in his honor.
Armie and Timothée, who were in town for the New York Film Critics Awards, were able to get to Los Angeles and attend the AFI Awards on Friday.
Ansel Elgort, a Best Performance By an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy nominee, had some fun with the situation. He posted a video of himself driving a car in the storm, tweeting, “Nyc snowstorm no worries baby will give u a ride 😎.”

Earlier this week, Ronan spoke to “Extra” about her decision to wear black at Sunday’s star-studded event.
Nominee Liev Schreiber posted pics of his sons playing in the snow on Thursday, writing on Instagram, “Serious snow day in the city...”
Williem Dafoe, who attended the New York Film Critics Awards, could also be missing the Globes, where he is nominated for his work on “The Florida Project.”
Brooklyn native Maggie Gyllenhaal, nominated for "The Deuce, may be absent from the show, but we’ll have to wait and see!
The Golden Globes air Sunday on NBC.
