He's already the ACM Male Vocalist of the Year, but does Thomas Rhett have his eye on becoming a fashion kingpin? Turns out the man of many hats also now designs them!
All this weekend, he's in L.A. celebrating his pop-up store in L.A.'s Fairfax Melrose District (420 N. Fairfax), where examples of his new Daniel Patrick X Thomas Rhett line are on sale to the public for the first time.
Rhett partnered with designer Daniel Patrick to launch the line, which includes New Era caps co-designed by Rhett himself that show off his Home Team logo, vintage tees designed by Blaine Halvorson and a very limited supply of custom-designed denim jackets by Kemal Harris.
That phrase "Home Team' means a lot to Rhett, who told "Extra" it means "wherever I go, whichever city I'm in, I'm part of that home team."
Rhett took time out from his pop-up to pop over to the Greek in L.A for a sold-out show, playing many of his hits and selections from his third album, "Life Changes." Rhett told "Extra" he chalks up the album's success to his "laying it all out there. People can relate to that."
Asked how he would have reacted had he been told he'd be as successful as he is today — including in a whole new field — Rhett said, "I would not have believed it."
Thomas Rhett's pop-up store is open 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. PT Saturday and 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. PT Sunday. In case you miss it, don't worry — some items will be available on his website after the pop-up pops down.
