“The Big Bang Theory” is getting ready to kick off its eleventh season, and the cast celebrated its tenth trip to Comic-Con over the weekend.
“Extra’s Renee Bargh spoke with the stars of the show, including Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, Kevin Sussman and Johnny Galecki.
Along with promoting the show, Johnny also reflected on the fire that destroyed his getaway home in Santa Margarita, California, late last month. The 42-year-old said, “The people have been so wonderful, not just in that community, but throughout — everyone has been so supportive. You have to find the silver linings and the dark humor in it.”
“A couple days after it happened, I was out and a woman approached me. She was really nice and supportive and said, 'I recognize you and I know who you are… and I’m sorry.' I said thank you.” It definitely wasn’t the kind of fan encounter he’s used to! "All of a sudden my house burned down, so you kind of have to find the gallows humor in it,” he continued.
On a lighter note, Johnny is looking forward to having fun back on the “Big Bang” set. He emphasized, “It really becomes part of the job to keep it fun and make it fun, and not just for the sake of fun, but for creativity, and what a great thing to say part of my professional obligation is to have fun."
When Renee tried to find out more information on what’s to come after the last season's finale, which ended with Sheldon proposing to Amy, the actors didn’t spill, saying they had no clue.
