Over the weekend, “America’s Got Talent” contestant Dr. Brandon Rogers passed away after a car accident.
TMZ reports that Rogers was not behind the wheel in the single-car collision, which happened in Maryland. According to the site, Brandon was in the front passenger seat when his friend veered off the road and crashed into a tree.
In the crash report, the driver revealed that he had fallen asleep behind the wheel after a long work shift.
Along with the driver, Rogers’ other friend, who sat in the backseat, also survived.
Before his death, Brandon’s audition on “America’s Got Talent” was scheduled to air next month, but the show has not yet confirmed whether it will still air.
