It was a terrifying weekend for former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dina Manzo, 46, and her millionaire boyfriend David Cantin, 37, who were the victims of a brutal home-invasion robbery.
Their lawyer told “Extra,” "Dina and David are obviously shaken up from the traumatic and violent home invasion and robbery. No one should ever have to go through what they did. They are grateful to law enforcement and the other emergency responders and appreciate everyone’s concern and well-wishes."
Page Six reports the couple returned to their Holmdel, New Jersey, townhome to find two masked men stealing cash and jewelry. Manzo was punched in the face, while Cantin was beaten with a baseball bat. The assailants then bound them together.
They later freed themselves and called the Holmdel Township Police Department, which has since launched an investigation.
Manzo and Cantin, who both suffered facial injuries, were treated at a local hospital and then released.
Dina appeared on Seasons 1, 2 and 6 of “RHONJ,” and remains close friends with co-star Teresa Giudice. Cantin is a philanthropist and motivational speaker who once co-owned the world’s largest car dealership.
