Tragedy as Former NFL Player Todd Heap Accidentally Kills His Daughter with Truck

Former football star Todd Heap accidentally struck and killed his daughter, 3, with one of his trucks Friday, People magazine reports.
The retired player was reportedly moving his vehicle and did not see his daughter in the driveway at his home in Las Sendas, Arizona. She was taken to a hospital but later died, according to Fox 10 in Phoenix.
According to reports, there is no indication that impairment due to drugs or alcohol was a factor in the tragic accident.
Heap played for the Baltimore Ravens and then the Arizona Cardinals until 2012, when an injury led to his retirement.
