Shay Mitchell on the Hardest Thing About ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Good-bye, Plus: Her Love Life!

Shay Mitchell is getting ready to say good-bye to “Pretty Little Liars,” but she has plenty of things to keep her busy.

The star recently sat down with “Extra's” Charissa Thompson, opening up about the hit Freeform show, final episodes of which will air later this year.

As for the hardest part about parting with the cast and crew, Shay shared, “I mean, just, they were my second family. I spent more time with the cast and crew than I did my own family.”

Aside from work, the Canadian actress has been spending time with Canadian TV host Matte Babel. Earlier this week, the two were seen in New York, where Shay has been for fashion week. Shay played coy on the relationship, commenting, “I, um... I'm having fun, you know.”

She has chosen to keep her personal life private, but why? She explained, “Always private, always… always keep them guessing…!”

Shay may not kiss and tell, but she revealed her secret to always looking flawless as the new spokesperson for Smashbox Cover Shot Eye Palettes, “This is Soft Light, which I love for spring.”

"I became familiar with their makeup line and I loved it, their foundations and everything,” Mitchell said of the brand she promotes and personally uses. "When I got the call to be the face of the Cover Shot Palettes, I mean, it obviously was going to be a yes.”
