James Corden is getting ready to host the Grammys on Sunday, but he has even more to celebrate — “The Late Late Show" host is gracing the cover of Esquire this month, and he has an upcoming role in the film “Ocean’s Eight.”

Last night, only “Extra” caught up with James at Esquire’s Mavericks of Hollywood event in partnership with Hugo Boss. James says he is ready for a fun-filled Grammy Sunday He shared, “I hope it's gonna be fun. I'm really gonna try and make it as fun as I can… I’m very, very nervous about it, but we'll see. I'm looking forward to it.”

While he has made a big name for himself with his signature "Carpool Karaoke” segments, don’t expect him to sing or dance during the show. “Don't have any singing and not any dancing. You know, there's lots of other people in the room who will do that very well. Much better than me.”

James also played coy on whether Beyoncé will be performing after her pregnancy announcement, saying, “I don't know that. I don't know.”

What he does know is he is making a cameo in a highly anticipated movie, revealing, “I've just been shooting ‘Ocean's Eight’ now. Yeah, it's fun. It was great. You know, it's Sandra Bullock and Anne Hathaway and everybody in the film. I only play, like, a little part in it, but I shot it last week and I really loved it. It was great.”

While at Esquire’s cover celebration, the 38-year-old admitted he is still trying to process all his success. “I never, ever thought that someone who looked like me would ever be on the front cover of a magazine like this. I’m hugely grateful and, you know, I don't know — it's a bit much for me. Our show only started, like, 18 months ago, and I'm really grateful to [Editor-in-Chief] Jay [Fielden] and everybody at the magazine for putting me on the cover. I feel like I'm doing it for big men everywhere.”

He revealed he will appear on not one, but two, covers. “I was just pleased that I looked okay because I've never really seen many good photos of myself,” he joked. "The best photograph I've ever seen of myself was on Google Earth, so I was very pleased to have seen this.”

The comedian revealed he isn’t sure if his wife has seen the pics yet! “She’s sick of seeing my face anyway.”
