Topping the headlines from the Super Bowl is Lady Gaga's fantastic halftime performance!
From the building leap to her mic drop, Mother Monster gave viewers one of the best halftime shows, and no one can stop talking about it... especially her parents!
“Extra’s” AJ Calloway chatted with Cynthia and Joe Germanotta after the show as they gushed over their daughter. Joe said, “Oh, gosh… there's no words to describe the feeling.”
Her mom chimed in, “She's (Gaga) feeling very emotional now... every emotion you could possibly have, she's having it, and my heart's beating out of my chest.”
AJ asked the proud parents, “Were you nervous or just happy?” Cynthia replied, “No, just like big adrenaline rush.” Joe added, “It was a rush… catching the ball… that was the icing on the cake.”
Gaga’s wild leap at the top of the show was actually pre-recorded. She began the act suspended from the roof before dropping to the stage.
The 30-year-old told AJ, “I made a decision about a month ago that I was going to do it. I just stayed solid and I went for it.”
Gaga, who gave a shoutout to the “gay, straight or bi, lesbian or transgendered life” during the performance, was beyond happy with the outcome of the show. “We got to perform on the biggest stage in the world with our beliefs and our diversity… it made me really proud.”
