Actor Brad Pitt is calling out his ex, Angelina Jolie, in new court documents!
A few weeks after he was denied a request to seal the divorce documents, Pitt has filed a memorandum to explain why he thinks their bitter custody battle should remain private.
In the papers, obtained by "Extra," Pitt bashed Jolie for not considering their children’s privacy with her recent court filings. The document states, “[Jolie] appears to be determined to ignore even agreed upon standards relating to the children’s best interest.” He went on to say that Jolie “exposed the children by making public the names of their therapists and other mental health professionals.”
The memorandum also argued that Angelina has “no self-regulating mechanism” since his team believes that she didn’t put any effort to preventing the sensitive information from reaching the public. Pitt used Angelina’s recent court documents as evidence, saying, "Although she had already made them public, she did it again.”
Angelina’s legal team has not responded to Pitt’s filing. Her attorney, Laura Wasser, recently told People magazine that Jolie isn’t opposed to the idea of sealing the documents, but opposed it since Brad’s team didn’t consult them beforehand.
A hearing has been scheduled for January to determine if the documents will be sealed, E! News reports.
