Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are taking the next big step in their relationship — stepping out in public together!
People magazine reports the pair were spotted shopping for a Christmas tree together at the Pines and Needles store in London Monday night.
Store co-founder Sam Lyle told the Mirror, "They were completely charming together and blissfully unaware that our jaws had hit the floor. They chose a gorgeous Nordmann Fir and walked away after exchanging Christmas pleasantries.”
Store worker Ollie Wilkinson revealed to Us Weekly, "I gave them a bunch of mistletoe. He smelled one of the berries and said it 'smelled a bit weird' and [Meghan] said she liked it. Then they got into the car. They walked off holding hands with [Prince Harry] holding the tree in one hand."
Harry and Meghan left the store with a $70 tree after browsing for 15 minutes.
Meghan reportedly flew to the UK on Sunday, just one day after her “Suits" co-star Patrick J. Adams’ wedding.
A source denied reports that she declined the invitation because she wanted to avoid overshadowing the bride and groom. The insider told People magazine, "She never planned on attending the wedding.”
Though they were planning on meeting up for a romantic getaway later this month, Markle took a spur-of-the-moment trip to see her Prince Charming. An insider said, "Harry and Meghan weren’t going to see each other until the vacation, but they really wanted to see each other. Meghan had an overwhelming few days in Toronto — cameras wherever she went, feeling like she was being followed... This is all very surreal to her. She feels safe with Harry."
