On Thursday, Prince Harry made his first public appearance since confirming his romance with actress Meghan Markle.
Harry stepped out in full uniform to honor those lost in battle at the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey in London. The army veteran was joined by grandfather Prince Philip, who served as a naval officer during World War II.
Earlier this week, Harry confirmed that he was dating Meghan in a statement released by Kensington Palace. In the statement, he called out sexist and racist trolls who were harassing Markle.
Markle has reportedly asked for some time off from shooting her show “Suits,” according to Page Six, seeking a break from filming in Toronto because she had “something important to do.” She is rumored to be meeting with lawyers who can help her handle her newfound international fame. An insider shared, “She comes across as just a regular girl. She’s stunning in person, but not everyone knew who she was. And she’s everywhere now.”
Though Markle hasn’t publicly commented on her relationship with Harry, she did recently tell the Vancouver Sun, “My cup runneth over and I’m the luckiest girl in the world!"
