For the last six years, Jimmy Kimmel has asked parents to play a horrible prank on their kids the day after Halloween.
The “Hey, Jimmy Kimmel, I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy” segment is always a fan favorite as kids throw tantrums and begin to cry when they’re told all their candy has been eaten by their parents. This year, Jimmy had a trick-or-treater of his own, his 2-year-old daughter, Jane.
When Jimmy decided to test the waters on Jane, she woke up in a “snippy” mood, he told his audience Tuesday. “She is at the age where she says no to everything. So, I decided this was the perfect time to tell her I ate all her Halloween candy.” Watch!
For a short time she was concerned for her candy, but the conversation quickly turned to the dirt she had discovered at the bottom of her pumpkin bucket — and later if dad was going to make her some pancakes.
Better luck next year, Jimmy!
