Lea Michele Is in Love... with Life

Michele talked about being in love with her life and her body. She explained, “I love my shape because it's unique to me. I'm 5'2”, and I get a lot of compliments on my legs, which is funny for a short girl. But they're one of my favorite things about my body.”

One of her other favorite things resides on the inside – her confidence. “I was raised to be confident," she said. "But confidence also comes from getting knocked down. When you go through something tough, you come out of it a stronger person. We live in a social media-driven world, where people say whatever they want, and if you're going to engage with them, you have to be confident. Everybody is always going to have an opinion, and they're entitled to that. You just have to know who you are and what you believe in."

She also talked about feeling happy and healthy in Shape Magazine, “I realize how lucky I am,” she said. “I have an amazing job, great opportunities, and a fantastic family and group of friends. I genuinely wake up every day with a really big smile on my face because I love my life.”
