Another high-profile Hollywood couple has called it quits. E! News reports that Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts have split after 11 years together.
The couple released a joint statement, explaining, "Over the past few months we've come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple. It is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship. While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy."
The longtime partners share two children: 9-year-old Alexander, who goes by Sasha, and 7-year-old Samuel.
On the same day the split news broke, Naomi was spotted on the NYC set of her new film "Gypsy" with a smile on her face.
Three weeks before the breakup, there was no hint of trouble as the couple looked happy while promoting “The Bleeder” at the Venice and Toronto Film Festival. See their cute pics together!
Naomi skipped the Emmy Awards last weekend. Liev, who was nominated for his role on “Ray Donovan,” took Sasha instead. Naomi supported her soon-to-be-ex on social media by reposting a photo of Liev and Sasha with the message, "Dapper duo here... #twinning #crushingit #goodluck #raydonovan @lievschreiber #proudbeyondwords."
