Lady Gaga is living the sexy single life since her split with Taylor Kinney!
Mother Monster showed her ex what he’s missing this week, stepping out in London wearing an itty-bitty silver top that showed off some serious underboob along with some daisy dukes… while also debuting her new single “Perfect Illusion.”
It’s hard to not link the new track to Kinney. Gaga told iHeartRadio last month that the rock song is about “modern ecstasy.”
She later told BBC’s Radio1 that the tune is also about social media. "I believe many of us are wondering why there are so many fake things around us. How do we navigate through social media? How do we look through these images that we know are filtered and altered, and decipher what is reality and what is a perfect illusion?"
Meanwhile, the lyrics seem to point to a past love: "It wasn't love / It wasn't love / It was a perfect illusion / Mistaken for love / It wasn't love / It was a perfect illusion / Perfect illusion / You were a perfect illusion"
She goes on to sing, "That's what it means to crush / Now that I'm wakin’ up / I still feel the blow / But at least now I know."
Is the song about Taylor? You be the judge!
