Did you marvel at the opening ceremonies of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio?
Now, check out the splendor enjoyed by the U.S. men's and women's basketball teams during their stay in Rio — that's right, the teams are skipping out on the Olympic Village in favor of lodging on the Silver Cloud, Silversea Cruises' luxury vessel.
Robb Report writes that the ship can carry up to 296 souls and provides "ocean-view suites, private verandas, a spa, a bar, multiple dining areas, a cigar lounge, and an open-air pool."
Don't worry about the teams' safety on the high seas — the ship is securely anchored at Pier Mauá port in Rio, where it is guarded by armed police, a scanner like you walk through at the airport, and a bulletproof fence.
All in all, a stay on the Silver Cloud would certainly complement winning a gold medal!
