Last night, Kim Kardashian’s BBF Jonathan Cheban attended DailyMail.com's White Party at PUMP in West Hollywood, where he shared with “Extra" his take on the Kimye drama with Taylor Swift.
Earlier in the month, Kim broke the Internet after she posted a video of Taylor and Kanye’s phone conversation about his song “Famous.” In the Snapchat videos, it appeared that Taylor was aware of some of the lyrical content of the song, which features lines about her.
Cheban said, "I think it’s settled down a little bit and I think it was worth it. Kanye works so hard, and for someone to discredit him, not that I think Taylor doesn’t, you just can’t pooh-pooh somebody all the time and make them look like a villain when the guy is so incredible.”
He defended Kim, saying, “As a wife, I think that sometimes you have to take a stand, and I think it’s awesome that she did. Taylor has her fans and we have our fans.”
Cheban also pointed out the "he said, she said” drama had similar characteristics to the current presidential election. “You never know how somebody could win with so much back and forth, but there’s always a winner. In this case, I think that Kim and Kanye were the winner.”
