Chris Pratt is heading back into space for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” Chris and the cast were at Comic-Con this weekend, where he and his new on-screen dad, Kurt Russell, chatted with “Extra’s” Renee Bargh.
Chris opened up about how much he and wife Anna Faris love being parents to Jack, who turns 4 next month. “He’s a very special kid, it’s kind of a one-day-at-a-time kind of thing; parenthood is an amazing experience.” Chris said having a child has changed their priorities. “It’s interesting when something that’s on your list of priorities jumps to the top, especially when you are two actors coming together, and you’re like, ‘Career is always going to be number one!' and something comes up and you are like, ‘Nope, there’s something more important than show business, that’s more important than Hollywood.’”
He also revealed Jack is a fan of his work. “Oh, yeah, he loves ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’. He's a big fan of Groot.”
Pratt, a big fan of Kurt joining the cast, said, “Oh, man, it's a dream come true. Kurt Russell is as awesome as you’d expect plus more.” Kurt is excited as well, saying, “That's really what it was, an opportunity to join a terrific outfit. James Gunn knows exactly what he is doing… I think it's going to be a great movie.”
Pratt promises a great movie and a brand-new film, not just another sequel. “You’re going to see things in this movie you’ll love just as much [as the first movie].”
“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” hits theaters May 5, 2017.
