Nearly four years after their split, “The Real Housewives of New York City" star Bethenny Frankel and her ex, Jason Hoppy, have finalized their divorce.
The two reached a settlement after years of bickering. The terms of the agreement are being kept private and confidential, according to Jason’s lawyer Bernard Clair. He said in a statement, "Jason is thrilled that this chapter of his life is over; he is extremely pleased with the settlement that was reached. Jason looks forward to the future and enjoying that time privately with family, friends and most important to him, his daughter."
Just before the news broke, Frankel jetted off to a vacation in Vegas, where she soaked up in the sun in her bikini. She wrote over the weekend on Snapchat, "Just did yoga now this. Just rinsing off the stench of the past season of the Real Housewives and just relaxing.” Perhaps she was celebrating the end of a lengthy chapter in her life?
Back in April, Frankel opened up about her struggles with the divorce and revealed how she would feel when it was all said and done. She commented, "I feel like I survived something. When it all shakes down, I'll be a woman who has not kind of just felt backed into a corner. I stayed strong and I did what was best for myself, my daughter, for women."
Bethenny and Jason share one child together, their six-year-old daughter Bryn.
