An anonymous law enforcement official is speaking out about what authorities hope to determine during their investigation into Prince’s death.
The source told the Associated Press that investigators want to know if Prince died from an overdose, exactly who was prescribing the drugs and what drugs were found at his home.
They are also taking a special interest in events leading up to the artist’s death, particularly the emergency landing Prince's plane made on April 15 in Moline, Illinois.
The insider says authorities want to know if a doctor was on the plane, and what drugs may have been aboard.
The source also confirmed that Prince was found unconscious on that plane and that he was given a “save shot” called Narcan.
Another source confirmed earlier reports that drugs were found at Prince’s home, but did not clarify whether was Percocet.
