Conor McGregor, 27, started a Twitter storm on Tuesday when he tweeted a retirement announcement.
The UFC world champion wrote, "I have decided to retire young. Thanks for the cheese. Catch ya's later."

Thanks for the cheese.
Catch ya's later.
Many fans were hoping that the tweet was a joke or that Conor’s account was hacked. So far no one from Conor’s camp or the UFC has stepped forward to confirm or deny the rumors.
Meanwhile, Conor is scheduled to fight Nate Diaz at UFC 200 on July 9.
Nate tweeted in response, “I guess my work here is done I'm retiring too.”
