Kris Jenner Dishes on Getting Drunk with Khloé, North’s Big-Sister Role, and Upcoming O.J. Series
Earlier this morning, “Extra's” AJ Calloway caught up with the matriarch of the Kardashian/Jenner clan and self-proclaimed “momager” Kris Jenner in Miami, where she led a panel discussion on pop culture at NATPE.

Her daughter Khloé Kardashian's new FYI show, “Kocktails With Khloé" is premiering tonight, and Kris set the record straight on getting drunk with Khloé for her appearance. “Oh, my goodness I am so proud of Khloé… First of all, she asked me to come on, and I'd been working nonstop trying to get ready for season 12 (of "Keeping up with the Kardashians”), and she wanted me to do a little test show with her, and I hadn't eaten all day. I can't really do the champagne/wine thing at all times 'cause I didn't want to do all the sugar, so I thought, 'I'll have a little vodka,' but at 10 o'clock in the morning, maybe not such a good idea.”
Kris admitted that she still hasn't seen the footage from the show. “I can't watch, I got a little… You know those days when you think, 'I was a little sloppy.'”
Jenner laughed, “When you start slurring your words, who knows what we were talking about, it was funny, we had a good time.”
Mama Jenner also gave an update on how her other daughter Kim and her two kids are doing, saying, “North is so cute, and the baby, it's just really great, everybody's doing really, really well.”
North apparently had no problem taking on the new title of big sister to Saint, who was born in early December. “I'm actually pleased and surprised because I've had experiences where it didn't go so smoothly when you bring a new baby home from the hospital — you don't know who's gonna do what — but it was good. North is really happy with her little brother.”
During her panel discussion, Kris shared her thoughts about her ex-husband's transition, which was shown in a positive light on “Keeping up with the Kardashians.” The show's depiction of Caitlyn Jenner's transition led to the family receiving letters about tackling the issues. She told AJ, “I felt happy, actually; I felt satisfied at the end of the day. I felt, 'Wow this was maybe the way it was filmed and done was meant to be, because it will help so many people.' What I do know now in hindsight is how many people were able to find the strength and the courage to tell someone that they love that they were going through a similar thing, and I think that's fascinating and really great.”
Kris also confessed that she has in fact watched Caitlyn's reality show “I Am Cait.” She said, “I did watch a few of the episodes and thought they came out really good, and so it's interesting for other people, especially if you're going through something like that.”
Speaking of shows, Kris will also be tuning into "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story,” which will have David Schwimmer portraying her late husband Robert Kardashian. She shared, “David Schwimmer called me before they started filming to get a little bit of insight into Robert Kardashian as a person, and I really appreciated it… He was so amazing and really great, and Robert Kardashian was such a big fan of David Schwimmer so that's what was wild to me. If you had told me 30 years ago that I would be having a conversation with David Schwimmer about playing Robert Kardashian while I was watching 'Friends,' I would have said, 'Are you crazy?'"
Selma Blair is playing Kris in the mini-series. Jenner gushed, “She's such a great girl, an amazing actor. I was excited she was chosen to play me. She nails it… She actually said to me they went as far as to actually get the right manicure, too.”
