Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani made headlines when they hit the Halloween party circuit over the weekend and then jetted off to Nashville together on Tuesday for the CMAs… leaving many to wonder how their exes Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale are taking the news.
Apparently, Blake's ex Miranda wash't the least bit surprised.
A source told E! News, "She was not surprised to hear of the romance between Blake and Gwen. They were always pretty flirty. Miranda and Blake were on the rocks on and off and knew that this could always be a possibility."
The insider continued, "Blake is just a flirty kind of charmer. She has nothing against Gwen and thinks she is a very talented artist. Whomever Blake is with she wishes them the best."
While Blake appears to be having fun with Gwen, Miranda is busy "focusing on herself and her music."
The source added, "This is a new chapter for her to create new relationships and really move on. Miranda has been going through many personal changes over the past few months, but it's all for the better."
Gwen opened up about Blake to Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday drawing parallels between her divorce from Gavin and Blake's from Miranda. She told him, "But to be super honest, it is kind of crazy we both went through the same thing at the same time. There's been so many people that I've gotten so much comfort from. Just people coming to me and telling me their story. Not confiding, but sharing, which has just helped me see things from a different perspective and move forward."
The CMAs will mark Blake and Miranda's first post-split awards show. No word yet on whether Gwen will attend with Blake.
