In court documents, Jared will be forced to pay 14 victims $1.4 million in restitution. He reportedly relied on underage escorts "to provide him with access to minors as young as 14 to 15 years for purposes of commercial sex acts with him." According to the documents, he would "accept a 16 year old," but emphasized, "the younger the girl, the better."
FBI spokeswoman Wendy Osborne told People, "He is in custody. He was processed and escorted down to the courthouse this morning." Check out "Crime Watch Daily's" footage of Jared leaving his court hearing earlier this morning. "Crime Watch Daily" is set to premiere on September 14.
In a separate video, Jared's mom, Adrienne, was asked by "Crime Watch Daily" if she had contact with her son amid the scandal. Watch her reaction.
Five weeks after authorities raided his home, Fogle reached the plea deal, which still needs to be approved by the court. If approved, he will serve at least five years in prison.
Jared's wife Katie has also begun divorce proceedings after news broke about him engaging in sex acts with minors.
She said in a statement, "Obviously, I am extremely shocked and disappointed by the recent developments involving Jared. I am in the process of seeking a dissolution of the marriage. My focus is exclusively on the well-being of my children. Neither I nor my family will have any further comment on the matter. I appreciate respect for my family's privacy during this difficult time."
Jared and Katie have been married for five years and have two children.
In 2010, Katie said about their relationship, "We've actually known each other for almost 10 years. I went to college with his brother and just started dating a couple of years ago."
