Jennifer reportedly hid the wedding from friends by telling them that she was throwing an early 44th birthday party for Justin, whose birthday is August 10, according to TMZ.
The two sparked wedding rumors when a cake with two Muppet-like characters was spotted at the event. Another hint of a wedding was the sight of a pastor holding a bible while headed into the home.
Justin and Jennifer's backyard was filled with tables and chairs for 70 close friends and family, including Howard Stern, BFF Chelsea Handler and Lisa Kudrow. Before the party, Jennifer and Justin stored furniture and party supplies in a giant, recently built shed. The couple also confiscated staffers' phones all week, which furthered speculation about nuptials.
Last year, Jennifer joked to Ellen DeGeneres about how her party guests are assuming that they are hitting a secret wedding every time she invites them over. Watch Jennifer discussing the possibility of a secret wedding.
Aniston's rep would neither confirm nor deny that there was a wedding.
