Rocco made a strong impression in "The Godfather" as a flashy, too-cocky honcho who gets shot right in the spectacles. He was also known as the father of Nancy McKeon's character "Jo" on "The Facts of Life" in the '80s, among dozens of other TV and film credits. He won the Emmy in 1990 for his supporting work on "The Famous Teddy Z."
