Lagerfeld said, "Lily-Rose is stunning. She's a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star." The character she depicts in the new campaign is said to be "A baby-doll in a world imbued with sweetness and femininity."

Lily-Rose is following in her mother's footsteps, a Chanel ambassador since 1990, both with this campaign and on the catwalk. The mother-daughter duo were part of Chanel's Fall-Winter 2015/16 Haute Couture show at the Grand Palais in Paris just weeks ago.
