Two years ago, George teamed with longtime friends Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman to create Casamigos Tequila, which has quickly become the fastest growing tequila brand in the country, and with a tagline like, “Brought to you by those who drink it,” it’s no wonder the three guys don’t mind going to work.
Casamigos means “house of friends,” and for their first campaign, they're asking friends and fans of the brand to go out and document their house of friends moments.
The brand invited their friend and fashion photographer Jason Lee Parry to be the first to participate, and the only thing Casamigos supplied were cases of their tequila — the rest was up to them. What they came back with was the first in a series of incredibly candid scenes from a camping trip with old friends and new friends, with one common theme, Casamigos and creating memories.
They want everyone to share their house of friends moments with Casamigos. Fans are encouraged to post videos on social media using the hashtag #HouseOfFriends.
George Clooney and Rande Gerber will view the submissions, and a select few will be shared on the Casamigos social channels as part of the new campaign.

Clooney, Gerber and Meldman worked on the creation of Casamigos with their master distiller in Jalisco, Mexico for years, and held many blind tastings until they knew they got it right. They’ve been drinking it on the rocks, by the shot, or sometimes “straight from the bottle,” according to Casamigos website.
George stands behind his brand. He even shipped a 100 cases of Casamigos to his wedding to Amal in Italy for friends to sip. “Extra’s” Mario Lopez was photographed sipping a shot of Clooney’s Casamigos Tequila with co-owner Rande Graber at this year’s Golden Globes.
