The Latest on Bobbi Kristina's Condition After Tracheotomy
Bobbi Kristina Brown was given a tracheotomy on Thursday to help decrease the risk of infection. She remains in a medically induced coma at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
A source close to the family told “Extra” on Friday that there is no change in Bobbi's condition since undergoing the procedure.
A family insider told People.com yesterday, "There's a medical reason behind [the surgery], but it's making things clear to everyone how serious this is. Even if she wakes up, there's a possibility that this could do some damage to her vocal chords, I hear." The insider added, “There are no other options. If there was another way, Bobby would do it."
Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in a bathtub at her Roswell, GA home on Jan. 31.
