Pics! Oprah Throws Surprise 60th Birthday Blowout for Gayle King
Oprah Winfrey and O Magazine went all-out for Gayle King's 60th birthday party!
Like her column in the magazine, the surprise bash at Pier 59 Studios in NYC was themed “The World According to Gayle.” Friends and family dressed up in her favorite things – yellow and clogs – and dined on her favorite foods!

Stations included burgers from Shake Shack, specialty grilled cheese sandwiches from The Melt Shop, Culture Popcorn from Pop! Gourmet, and yummy treats from Carousel Cakes.
According to TMZ, Oprah ordered 960 cupcakes from Baked by Melissa, which spelled out “Sweet 60th”!
