Casey Kasem, 82, has been found. Hours after his daughter Kerri Kasem filed a missing person’s report, the radio DJ was located across state lines.
Santa Monica Police Department Sgt. Mario Toti told the New York Daily News that Kasem, who suffers from Lewy body disease, was found in Washington state.
His family later released a statement to the Daily News, explaining, "We have received confirmation that Casey Kasem has been found. The family has grave concerns about his health and will do everything in their power to bring him back home."
Julie, Kerri and Mike Kasem, Casey’s children from his first marriage, have been publicly at odds with his wife Jean Kasem for some time. They believe Jean was responsible for his disappearance.
On Monday, a judge named Kerri as her father’s temporary conservator, paving the way for her to get police involved and file a missing person’s report.
